The deadline for submissions to the second Bray Music Video Festival is now less than a week away. Submissions for the music video festival - which takes place in the Irish seaside town of Bray from May 13th to the 16th - is Monday 26th April 2010.

The full awards line-up has also now been confirmed, together with a number of events and band performances. The awards are: Best Video, Best Directed, Best Shot, Best Cut, Best International, Best Artist and The BrayMVF Rising Star award.

Among the confirmed events is a workshop with Tony Kearns, legendary editor of hundreds of music videos including some of the most iconic videos of all time, including Radiohead's Just and The Prodigy's Firestarter. Among the musical acts confirmed for the weekend are Noise Control, Autoban, Sweet Jane, Scarecrow Disco and Le Galaxie.

After last year's successful inaugural festival - where Lorcan Finnegan swept the board at the awards ceremony and picked up the BrayMVF Rising Star award - the festival has moved locations from the Mermaid Arts Centre to the Harbour Bar. The festival is scheduled to start on Thursday with an openday/exhibition by Cine Electric, TeamFX and Production Depot held in Ardmore Studios.

As well as handing out awards statues, the BrayMVF Rising Star award also boasts a prize which amounts to a full video shoot. C-Stage in Ardmore for the day, a RED camera and lenses from Production Depot, 2000 euro worth of lighting from Cine Electric, 1000 euro worth of practical FX from TeamFX and a casting in the Courtyard Studio.

To obtain a submission form, email submissions@braymvf.com. Submissions must be sent in by post and accompanied by a cheque or postal order for 10Euro per submission.

Weekend tickets for all events will be available from Tickets.ie. These go on sale on Thursday 22nd April, priced 25Euro each.
