The videos for The Hickey Underworld's Blonde Fire and Depeche Mode's Wrong have won the big honours at the first Music Video Competition held at the Plus Cameraimage Festival, the film festival focussed on the art and craft of cinematography, which has just wrapped its 17th annual edition.

The astonishing <a href="http://www.promonews.tv/2009/11/06/the-hickey-underworld%E2%80%99s-blonde-fire-by-joe-vanhoutteghem/" target="_blank">Hickey Underworld</a> video - directed by Joe Vanhoutteghem and shot by Nicolas Karakatsanis - won the best video award, while Shawn Kim won the best cinematography in a music video award for his work on the <a href="http://www.promonews.tv/2009/03/26/bug-12-depeche-mode%E2%80%99s-wrong-by-patrick-daughters/" target="_blank">Depeche Mode</a> clip, directed by Patrick Daughters. Plus Cameraimage, held at Lodz in Poland, also welcomed hundreds of cinematographers, cameramen and other filmmakers and fans over seven days - including Terry Gilliam, Richard Zanuck, Bill Murray, Thelma Schoonmaker, Volker Schlondorff, Allan Starski, Alan Parker and Rutger Hauer.
