3 Mills Studios, London's largest film and television studio complex, is sponsoring the Best Pop Video category at next week's 2009 UK Music Video Awards.

3 Mills, situated conveniently close to central London, on the historic Three Mills Island in Bromley-by-Bow, is popular with leading independent filmmakers including Wes Anderson, Danny Boyle, Tim Burton, David Cronenberg, Ken Loach, Mike Leigh and Michael Winterbottom, and its numerous stages - it has fourteen in total - have played host to many music video productions down the years. In 2009, videos for Alesha Dixon, The Enemy , Gary Go, Placebo, the Yeah You's and more have been shot at the complex.

"3 Mills Studios is delighted to sponsor the Best Pop Video at the Music Video Awards," says 3 Mills' studio executive Derek Watts. "It's the perfect opportunity for us to highlight and strengthen our relationship with international and UK music talent and encourage the making of high quality music videos."
