David Knight - 7th Sept 2009

Just one week remains for the first round of judging at the 2009 UK Music Video Awards - and 'longlists' for Individual awards and Best International video are about to be announced.

Nearly 300 Jury Members have been invited by email to take part in judging for the UK MVAs, and they have not already done so, Jury Members are being asked to commence judging the categories they have been assigned as soon as possible in order to complete their voting before the deadline, next Monday, September 14th.

Each Jury Member can view the videos in their assigned categories via the MVA voting platform hosted by BEAM TV using their unique login details. Jury Members should select their 6 favourite works in each category. Longlists of the most popular choices then go on to live judging sessions shortly afterwards.

So if you're a Jury Member look out for the ballot - and vote!

The 2009 UK Music Video Awards is being held at the ODEON West End on October 13th. Tickets to the show (including the aftershow) are on sale now, and can be purchased using the ticket form posted on the UK MVA website.
