The UK Music Video Awards 2009 - celebrating the best work and creative achievement in music video production in Britain and elsewhere over the past year - will return to London's West End in less than three months.

This year's UK MVAs will be held at the Odeon West End in Leicester Square, in London, on Tuesday, October 13th.

It means the MVAs are back at the same venue, exactly one year after the hugely successful inaugural event in 2008. The MVAs will have the same successful Academy Awards and BAFTA-style format - and as with the 2008 MVAs, the festivities will continue after the ceremony with an aftershow party at a nearby venue.

This year, more honours are being added to the existing full range of awards for video, individual and technical excellence in music video production at the UK's premiere music video awards party. The full list of those awards at this year's MVAs will be announced early next week, together with the terms and conditions for entry, the period for eligibility, and deadlines for entry.

Entry forms will then be available both from Promo News and the official MVAs 09 website shortly after, together with further information about this year's MVAs.

And the UK Music Video Awards is pleased to announce that they are working once again with BEAM TV on the entry and judging process for this year's event, and with Locomotion on the show graphics.

Furthermore, the graphic theme of this year's MVAs - once again created by Studio Thomson, following it's successful 'Best in Show' theme for last year's event - will also be revealed very shortly.
