In an excellent evening for recognition of music video creativity, Encyclopedia Pictura's video for Bjork's Wanderlust won three Yellow Pencils at the 2009 D&AD Awards last Thursday night (June 11th).

In an excellent evening for recognition of music video creativity, Encyclopedia Pictura's video for Bjork's Wanderlust won three Yellow Pencils at the 2009 D&amp;AD Awards last Thursday night (June 11th). The video for <a href="http://www.promonews.tv/2008/04/01/shown-at-bug-06-bjork%e2%80%99s-wanderlust-by-encyclopedia-pictura/">Wanderlust</a>, directed by Isaiah Saxon and Sean Hellfrisch (aka Encyclopedia Pictura), won Yellow Pencils for art direction, special effects and in the music video category. It is quite possibly an unprecedented haul for a single music video at the D&amp;ADs. And Yellow Pencils were also awarded to Chris Milk's video for Gnarls Barkley's Who's Gonna Save My Soul in the animation category, Martin de Thurah's promo for Will Young's Changes in cinematography, and James Frost video for Radiohead's House Of Cards in music video. Other music video winners on the night were Frater's video for Ladyhawke's My Delirium (animation), Goldfrapp's Happiness by Dougal Wilson, The Cinematic Orchestra's To Build A Home by Up The Resolution, and Gnarls Barkley's Who's Gonna Save My Soul again (music video), and for editing, MTV's anti-child labour promo, using Radiohead's All I Need on the soundtrack, for its EXIT (End Exploitation and Trafficking) campaign (see below). http://www.youtube.com/watchv=DV1hQSt2hSE[/youtube]
