Steve Barron’s Choking Man arrives in the UK

Steve Barron’s Choking Man arrives in the UK

David Knight - 6th Nov 2008

Now at last, Choking Man, Steve Barron's most recent feature film - and his first completely independent production - arrives in the UK for it's British theatrical premiere with an exclusive run at the BFI Southbank. Combining psychological drama and magical realism, Choking Man captures the experience of an immigrant worker, his fellow workers and customers in a New York diner in a highly original and touching fashion. Steven Soderbergh has described Choking Man as "everything an independent film should be". Choking Man, a Ghost Robot production, will be showing at BFI Southbank from the 14th - 30th November, and there's a special screening on Saturday 15th November in which the film will be followed by a Q&A with Steve Barron discussing the film. Tickets are available from the Box Office at BFI Southbank and on the website . Watch the Choking Man trailer here
