David Knight - 10th Sept 2008

The first UK Music Video Awards on October 14th is now less than five weeks away - and there are just five days remaining for Jury Members of the MVAs to submit their choices in the first round of judging for the awards.

Jury Members are requested to judge the videos entered in three of the 12 different best video and technical achievement categories of the MVAs - which they access via the online MVAs judging screening site administered by Beam TV - by next Monday, September 15th.

Jury Members don't have to score the videos - they just have to pick their top six choices in each category. A shortlist of videos that get the most picks will go forward to final judging sessions organised for Monday the 22nd, Tuesday the 23rd and Wednesday the 24th of September. But Jury Members must get their selections in by next Monday.

In other words: vote vote vote!!

The MVAs takes place on October 14th at the Odeon West End in Leicester Square. For tickets to the show and the aftershow go to the 2008 UK Music Video Awards website, or contact Lou Stevens at at +44 (0)20 8968 7766, or you can email her at louise@ukmva.com.
