The Ting Tings' video for Shut Up And Let Me Go by directing duo AlexandLiane, won the Best UK Video prize at the MTV Video Music Awards on Sunday night in Los Angeles.

The video easily beat off competition from Coldplay, Estelle, Duffy and Leona Lewis to win the award, taking more than half the votes in a poll of MTV UK viewers .

The Ting Tings also performed the song on the show - it was also nominated for the VMA Video Of the Year award - that was won (like nearly everything else) by Britney Spears' Piece Of Me.

Shut Up And Let Me Go, which features the camera constantly moving forward, through the cupped hands of the Ting Tings' Katie And Jules into other scenes, was produced by Charlotte Woodhead at Factory Films, shot by Will Bex, edited by Amanda James at Final Cut, and commissioned for Sony BMG by John Hassay and CJ Hassay at New Selecta.

AlexandLiane talked about the making of the video to Promo News here.
