Coming soon: Bjork’s Wanderlust by Encyclopedia Pictura

The wait is almost over. Bjork's video for Wanderlust, directed by Encyclopedia Pictura, and nearly a year in the making, is almost here. In fact, the first version has been delivered to commissioner Paul Mckee at One Little Indian. Now EP's Sean Hellfrisch and Isaiah Saxon are working hellbent towards completing their piece de resistance: the full 3D version of Wanderlust. It promises to be amazing. And the first public screening of Wanderlust is due to take place next week, at the Jeffrey Deitch Gallery in New York - which is, quite coincidentally, the same warehouse where the live action element of the video was shot last year. There is a private screening of the video at the gallery next Wednesday, March 12, and it's first public screening the next day, on March 13th. The next confirmed big screen event to see Wanderlust, which has been produced through Ghost Robot in New York, is at Flux, held at the Hammer Museum in Los Angeles, on March 25th. Then the first big screen presentation of Bjork's Wanderlust in the UK is likely to be at BUG 06, at the BFI Southbank, on March 27th. There is also the possibility that this screening will be in 3D. However, this event has already sold out. We will let you know of any other screenings as soon as we hear of them. Whether it is in 2D or 3D, we can expect something very special, very soon.
