Alt-R&B artist Apache Grosse's innovative new project pairs his second album Life After Her with a stylish 13-minute short film that visualizes his metaphorical journey as an artist.

Helmed by LA-based director Daniel Mayúgba, this experimental episodic narrative blends the complexities of a psychological thriller and sci-fi to pose the underlying question about the sacrifices one makes in the relentless pursuit of art.

Mayúgba employs various narrative styles adds to and compounds the layers of intrigue throughout the film. The immersive soundscape was crafted by Apache Grosse in collaboration with award-winning composer Tony Scott-Green.

Presented in chapters, Life After Her invites viewers into a maze of layered worlds alongside the Artist, where he must grapple with the power of choice, the gravity of consequence, and the pursuit of identity.
