Directing duo The Rest channel serious Nineties vibes in their sweet and breezy promo for Mahalia's delightful Whenever You're Ready.

The video - shot entirely on the Xiaomi Mi 11 Series phone - flips the script on the lyrics, reintrepreting the love interest as a friend who has grown detached from her group. It takes a heart-to-heart chat on the phone to get the fourth member of Team Mahalia to get back in the gang  

Paying homage to iconic videos from her youth, Mahalia exudes zesty, laidback energy and plenty of confidence to boot, ably supported by her girlfriends - Taitlyn and Kaylee Jaiy, and Demi Rox - whilst the effervescent visual is absorbingly nostalgic throughout.
