Najeeb Tarazi, nominated at the UKMVAs this year for his video for Gaz Coombes' Walk The Walk, demonstrates his storytelling talents again in this impressive video for London band Another Sky.

This is a riveting sketch of the reality of LA economics from the perspective of a young car wash worker, whose honesty is tested when he desperately needs to fix his bike. Tarazi gets a great performance from non-actor Jonni Truelove, the economy of the tale fitting the band's taut, tense Chillers like a glove.

"People think of LA as a car city but there is a huge population of young people who rely on bicycles to get around. The band and I felt that it would be a striking contrast to set a song about the hollow striving of Hollywood to a video about a broke young man who works at a car wash and dreams of fixing his bike.

"I wanted to street cast our lead from the cycling community and we were fortunate to find Jonni Truelove. His high level of intimacy and comfort with his bike made him a great fit, as did his surprising ability on camera (as a non-actor).

"Despite my interest in casting a cyclist the role is ultimately more about a young man hustling at a car wash than anything else. Jonni took on that role and really acted as this character with texture and ease. I hope his performance plays well against the complexity and drive of this amazing track.”
