Giorgio Testi is renowned for his beautifully crafted and often powerfully intense films of bands in live performance. And this one for Black Rebel Motorcycle Club is no exception. 

Filmed at the legendary Babelsberg Studios near Berlin, this version of Little Thing Gone Wild, from the new BRMC album Wrong Creatures, is an unrestrained display of crunching rock delivered under bright red light.

"BRMC are an awesome live band. For this session, since we were planning not to have an audience, I wanted to get them performing in circle, all facing each other, so I could track around them outside amps and gear, and capture the interplay between bandmembers which I thought would be interesting.

"Visually, I tried to be as cinematic as possible, but also I decided to intercut the anamorphic look with the 4:3 video look of the contents we postproduced and fed live into the screens on set.”
