On November 19th 2016, Coldplay asked their fans to "show them what was happening in their corner of the world" to coincide with Global Citizen Day. The response was immediate and huge.

Thousands of the band's fans sent short videos on Instagram, and they really did come from every corner of the Earth. Six weeks later, The Firepit, Warner Music’s creative content studio, have delivered the video for Amazing Day.

Editor Mike Isted had the task of turning countless hours of crowd-sourced footage into the video, and has done a fantastic job. The emotive content, containing ordinary life in its manifest forms all over the globe, is a very uplifting and positive statement about humanity. That could hardly be more timely.
