Yeti Lane 'L’Aurore' by Simon Gesrel & Arnaud Viémont
Luke Bather - 24th Oct 2016
Simon Gesrel and Arnaud Viémont present an incredible scene of debauchery and demonic possession told in pauses in time.
They say, perhaps a little too often, that a picture tells a thousand words. So the ability to move through a picture to really examine a moment in time can practically write a novel. Gesrel & Viémont's neo-noir style video glides effortlessly through a scene in a bar that turns increasingly more violent after some of the patrons become seemingly possessed by the exotic dancer performing for them. The use of miniatures here is a mark of meticulous craftsmanship that really enhances the ability to linger on a moment.
Take a moment to look at the level of detail in this short but fascinating 'Making Of' too.
