Nash Edgerton, who did a great job with the action-packed (and violent) video for Bob Dylan's Duquesne Whistle a couple of years ago, has reunited with the great man to bring film-noir back to life for The Night We Called It A Day – from Dylan's unexpected Frank Sinatra tribute album Shadows in the Night.

It features Dylan in the middle of a love-triangle which is doomed for a bloody end - and only one player can make it out alive. The sound and image go wonderfully together, and Nash (and Bob) properly reflect the intrigue and cynicism of the noir genre. And Dylan's heartwrenching vocals making it difficult to not sympathise with him a little, despite his backhanded ways...
