The light effect when the tune breaks is shot in camera: we rigged a piece of glass just in front of the lens and hit laser pens off it at a 90 degree angle. A side effect was that it eliminated the potential for any 'outsiders' to stray into her field of performance. "It was amazing watching the rushes back and seeing how much she had given to it.
