Neneh Cherry's collaboration with The Thing on the cover of MF Doom's Accordion - from forthcoming album It's A Cherry Thing - the video by Ted Beagles (in his alternate guise as Ted Says) was shot in complete darkness using night vision and infrared lights rigged in bushes and trees with near-subliminal appearances from MF Doom's mask.

"I think Neneh has very strong opinions about her past life in the pop world so anything she does now comes from the opposite perspective to that," says Ted. "It was also important that we nodded to MF Doom who wrote and performed the original. "Bar the lasers it was shot in complete darkness - all the lights were infrared to give it that milky tone on the leafs and on Neneh. The light effect when the tune breaks is shot in camera: we rigged a piece of glass just in front of the lens and hit laser pens off it at a 90 degree angle. A side effect was that it eliminated the potential for any 'outsiders' to stray into her field of performance. "It was amazing watching the rushes back and seeing how much she had given to it.
