The Dø’s Slippery Slope by Noel Paul @ that go
Jimmy Brown - 20th Jan 2011
For the lead track of their Dust It Off EP, Noel Paul totally gets into the spirit of alt-rock duo The Dø's tribal vibe of Slippery Slope with this effective left-field promo.

"We shot the video in London at the end of last year. The band contributed many of the source inspirations, including a japanese horror film from the 60s (Onibaba), burqas, and ballets-russes choreography. I synthesized these elements into a whole and brought a structure of choreographed repetitive gestures building into an aggressive edit. DoP Michael Ragen helped me give the images a Sarah Moon photographic quality with saturated colors and some grainy texture.
