CJ Hassay @ New Selecta

The Japanese Popstars&#39; Shells of Silver features the vocals of James Vincent McMorrow, and Abby Warrilow and Lewis Gourlay -&nbsp;aka directing team Cagoule - felt compelled to do the lovely track justice, painting it with appropriately beautiful pictures.
Photography was captured over seven days, mostly at first light and the early hours to represent scenes of solitude and isolation. Care was taken not to feature any cars or people, other than the cast of dancers. Particular focus was given to the urban landscape, and the team travelled both within the UK and Poland in search of locations. Abby and Lewis were joined by DoPs Mintuu Mantynen and Scott Ward for the UK locations, then Lewis and Abby carried on to Poland to complete the stunning imagery for the video themselves.
Abby skillfully choreographed wonderfully simple, gestures of movement, that give the video an artistic integrity and highly emotive response.

Adam Powell captures a more reflective and serious Example, but also the very essence of the Example live experience, with this very cool monochome promo for hot new single Changed The Way You Kissed Me - filmed at a packed Ministry Of Sound in South London.
Superb photography - as you'd expect with an Adam Powell promo - DP'd by Dan Trapp. But the edit is, for once, not Adam's own work - he handed over to Thomas Grove Carter, who's done his customary fine job.
