UK industry body the Music Video Producers Association and Sony Music have announced an event for companies and individuals to discuss the issues surrounding the changing landscape of music visual production, to take place at Sony Music's UK HQ in King's Cross, London, next Tuesday, April 16th.

The event, called The Future Of Visuals In Music, includes panel discussions with industry professionals from both sides of the business, talking about the evolving environment of how music is visually consumed, and ways to respond to the current situation.

One panel will bring together individuals with considerable experience of commissioning, marketing and interpreting viewing data, to discuss the state of play for music visual content from the label perspective, and how their needs are changing in terms of content creation. 

Then a panel consisting of leading production company EPs, directors and creative directors will also investigate this issue from the perspective of Production, how they are able to adapt to new demands and why they offer a crucial service to labels. 

Following the panels, there will be an open discussion about the issues raised during the evening, with participation from the audience. Promonews editor David Knight will be moderating the evening's panel talks and subsequent general discussion.

The Future Of Visuals In Music takes place at the Sony Music building at 2 Canal Reach, London NIC 4DB on Tuesday, April 16th, starting at 5.30pm.
