Taz Tron Delix, one of the most acclaimed and garlanded British directors working in music videos, has signed to KODE for UK represention for promos and commercials. He will be repped for music videos by Mouthpiece.

Delix's music video credits include acclaimed work for Stormzy, Joy Crookes and Camelphat that has gained multiple award nominations and wins. Last year he directed videos for J Hus (It's Crazy) and Calvin Harris (Miracle) that spearheaded their respective new album campaigns. His honours include taking Gold at the Creative Circle Awards for Best Music Video for Positive Change. 

Since his early work for the likes of Oscar Worldpeace, Cartae and Declan McKenna, Delix has been driven by building new worlds through motion, speed, texture and colour, manipulating his creations into hyperextensions of reality. “My work generally falls into a world of surrealism," he says. "When following the unknown, boundless possibilities of fantasy and imagination can appear, whilst still being rooted in some kind of truth.” 

With empowering the viewer at the heart of his imagery, in 2020 Taz released the fully animated Superheroes video with Stormzy against a backdrop of the BLM movement, capturing that pivotal moment in history and celebrated black excellence. “I always want to represent the diversity I see and live amongst, within my work," he adds. "That’s the reality of London – it’s a diverse place.”

Delix's style has also translated into commercials, with his art of using mixed-media, post-production and in-camera techniques elevating the tone and impact of a number of commercial campaigns - including for Brewdog, Chivas, EA
Sports, Doc Martens, Major League Baseball and more.
