It was a night of triumph for Billie Eilish, Miley Cyrus, boygenius and, above all, Taylor Swift at the 2024 Grammy Awards on Sunday night, where female artists predominated among the winners. In the Best Music Video category there was a female winner too - director/animator Em Cooper, for the video for The Beatles' I'm Only Sleeping.

Created for the re-release of classic Beatles album Revolver, the animated video for I'm Only Sleeping was created by Cooper - who painted each frame individually in oil paint. The video was produced by Jonathan Clyde, Sophie Hilton, Sue Loughlin and Laura Thomas, and won the Best Music Video Grammy from a shortlist containing videos by Billie Eilish, Kendrick Lamar, Tyler Childers and Troye Sivan.

In the Best Music Film category, Brett Morgen's David Bowie documentary Moonage Daydream won the award, ahead of nominated films featuring Lewis Capaldi, Kendrick Lamar, Little Richard and Tupac Shakur.
