The new episode of The Promonews Podcast: Talking Music Videos - our series of conversations with creatives in the music video industry, supported by Loop Talent - is out today, featuring director and creative director Nathan James Tettey.

In this episode Nathan talks about his work with artists like Dave, Stormzy, Ghetts, Headie One and Fredo, and he discusses the importance of his close relationship with those artists in making some of the most-watched British music videos right now.

He reflects upon his long career in the industry, working in different roles of the music video production world, including producer and video commissioner, before he finally made the leap to directing a few years ago. That started with the nerve-wracking experience of making Dave's video for Question Time, and led to a series of collaborations with Dave as director and creative director, most recently with the video for Verdansk. 

Nathan also talks about his commitment to making the world of music video creation more diverse, enabling people of colour to express themselves, tell their own stories, and grow their careers within the medium.
