Wash expands with move to new home in central London

Promonews - 4th Apr 2019

Post production company Wash has announced its expansion, with a relocation to a new base in Farringdon in central London, four suites, and a greater offering of services, including 4K HDR mastering.

Started just two years ago by Jon Dobson as a single colour grading suite based in Hackney, numerous music videos have been graded at Wash since then - including this year's Brit Award winner of Best Video, Little Mix's Woman Like Me.

At its new home, Wash is offering 4K HDR mastering as part of its upgraded state of the art experience, and the facility now has four suites to welcome current and new clients.

Wash founder and senior colourist Jon Dobson states: “We have got to the point where we are taking on more and more work, and the jobs are getting bigger and bigger. Alongside our commercial work, we completed our third long-form feature at the end of 2018, and wanted to pave the way for more of that in 2019 and beyond.

“In less than two years, Wash has grown from a one-man band to what you see today. I’m not sure I ever thought we’d grow this quickly. It’s exciting to diversify and offer HDR workflows. In the long run, it should pave the way to taking on Netflix productions and other similar work while ensuring our existing client base can benefit."

Wash post-producer Mikael Nakkas continues: “We put a strong emphasis on our client experience here; having the latest and best equipment is of equal importance as creating a comfortable and friendly experience that has a personal and collaborative feel”.
