Promonews is launching a new version of the website today (May 17th) for beta testing and looking for feedback on the new design from our readers.
Although not complete, the new 'mobile-first' design - built to work on mobile, tablet and desktop - gives our readers the chance to check out the designs on pages featuring music video reviews and credits, interviews, individual and company profiles, playlists and news. A banner on those pages of the existing site will take readers to the new beta version.
It also gives readers the chance to check out the evolved branding for the website, including a new logo. Further redesigned pages, including the homepage, will be joining the beta version of the website in the next few weeks. Other features - including improved search, simpler navigation and a way to search crew listings by production role – will also be launched soon (and the menu on the beta site is now working yet). This is all part of the project to create a new version of Promonews that works even better for its users.
We would certainly welcome readers' feedback on the newly designed pages, via the questionnaire that can be accessed by clicking the 'feedback' link on the banner, or on the link below. This information will be used to help Promonews tackle teething problems with the new version of the website ahead of its official launch.
