The UK Music Video Awards is delighted to announce that Adam Buxton will return as the host of the UK Music Video Awards 2012 in two weeks time. Adam's association with music videos has been stronger than ever this past year, presenting numerous editions of BUG: The Evolution Of Music Video both at its spiritual home, the BFI Southbank in London, and elsewhere in the UK. That includes the first BUG special at the London Film Festival - the first time a music video-only show has been featured within the Festival - celebrating the music videos of Fatboy Slim, earlier this month. This year has also seen Adam hosting special editions of the live BUG show in Sydney and LA, and fronting a TV version of BUG for Sky Atlantic. The TV series saw Adam write the music for, feature in, and even direct some specially-commissioned music videos, including several by previous MVA winners- including Summertime Blues, directed by Garth Jennings, The Sushi Song directed by David Wilson, and the huge online hit Counting Song, directed by Cyriak Harris. Adam also returns to BBC 6Music this month, co-hosting in his old Saturday morning slot for seven weeks with new broadcasting partner, Edith Bowman. In an exclusive interview with Promo News, Adam declares: "I'm very excited to be part of the MVAs, and will do my best to ensure this year's prizegiving passes in under six hours with the minimum of physical violence." He is also under orders to bring back his custom-made MVA award 'stingles' and congratulatory video messages from his favourite pop stars. The UK Music Video Awards 2012 takes place on November 8th - just two weeks from today (October 25th). Tickets are available now via the UKMVA website priced £115 + VAT each. To book seats at the UKMVAs, download the ticket booking form at the UKMVA website. The ticket also allows access to the MVAs aftershow party - which will take place at the Cafe de Paris, just a few steps away from The Empire. Music will be provided once again by "DJ Miss G" from Stink and friends. Tickets for the aftershow party only will be available from October 30th, depending on availability as priority will go to Awards ticket holders.
