Alistair Hendry directs a gently stirring promo for singer-songwriter Mortagh. 

The video for Solstice paints the extremes of London life, from fleeting moments of ecstatic joy to the heavy and oppressive grey skies overhead. 

Shot on 16mm, the video finds Mortagh as a dancer in a derelict home. As ghostly vignettes of nightlife stalk him and bleed into liminal rooms, he continues to perform to reach his solace.

The gritty black and white aesthetic adds a textural tangibility to the video, contrasting the illusory visions and memories, creating a rounded and thought-provoking project.
