Felix, who has just signed to Kode Media, travelled out to Faro in Portugal with Loyle Carner and Tom Misch to capture the visuals for Angel.

The video follows the pair as they cycle around the small town in the midday sun - two pals hanging out in a beautiful surrounding, letting the world go by. What more could you possibly want?

Felix begun his creative journey as a drummer and musical director working with artists around the world - including with Anderson .Paak and Childish Gambino on their recent 2017 and 2018 tours as a creative consultant and photographer. Felix has also directed for brands such as Levi’s, Moncler, Wagamama and most recently Diesel.

FELIX:

“The brief for this video rang so close to home for me. It felt like a chance to revisit much of my fondest memories of growing up in deep, rural England. Loyle proposed an initial idea with some solid references which, in any shared creative situation, is a blessing. We sat down and further conceptualised the vision so as to execute what he envisaged with as much precision as possible.  

"Due to needing a summer-like environment we took production to the Algarve. This also reflects Loyle’s childhood as Faro was a city he and his family visited on vacation when he was a younger boy. We took the most skeletal crew possible, so as to optimise time expenditure and ease of movement, which allowed for a much more relaxed shooting environment. This was absolutely necessary for the style and theme of the finished product.

"I’m also very excited to debut this video with Kode in addition to announcing my signing to their roster.”
