London Alley director Hannah Lux Davis directs the latest video for four-time 2019 Grammy winner Kacey Musgraves.
Ariana Grande 'thank u, next' by Hannah Lux Davis
When the high school movie classics are referenced in music videos it usually happens one at a time. But for the much-adored thank you, next, there was only one thing for Ariana Grande and Hannah Lux Davis to do - riff on all of them.
So you get Mean Girls, Bring It On, 13 Going On 30, Legally Blonde, and possibly one or two more. A treasure trove for afficionados of those movies. Incomprehensible to anyone who hasn't watched them, but that's not very many judging on the YouTube viewing figures - a new record number of views for the first day, and 100 million views in three days.
