'Hello, Future' Music Video Challenge – and the winner is…

Alberto Gomez, born in Mexico, graduated from the Vancouver Film School two years ago. Since then he has made some independent shorts, and work for local artists through is independent brand GroovyChaos. His winning video was chosen from ten finalists by a panel of judges including creatives from Saatchi &amp; Saatchi, Vimeo and BUG, and Moby himself. The other finalists, whose work was shown in a montage at the Cannes screening, were Frank Beltrán, David Evan Bowers, Brian McCann, Lindsay MacKay, Antonin Pevny, Oden Roberts, Martin Rodahl, Alexey Terehoff, and Roland Wittl. Gomez's winning video was the final work shown at the event. The show began with a audio-visual installation and performance by Warp artist Jamie Lidell.
