The Hoosiers’ Choices by Diamond Dogs
Jimmy Brown - 28th June 2010
The Hoosiers unveil a new synth-pop direction with Choices, and following their highly successful partnership on the band's first-album hits they've aptly turned once again to Phil Sansom and Olly Williams (aka Diamond Dogs) to translate their distinctive blend of dorkiness and catchy pop to the smallscreen.
Having raided movie genres on Worried About Ray, Goodbye Mr A and Cops And Robbers, Phil and Olly have moved things along by combining a couple of influences: a Far East booze ad re Lost In Translation morphs into a Hong Kong kung fu B-movie. And a little dash of self-mockery brings the band's essential charm into focus.
