King Midas Sound's Lost by Niall O’Brien

David Knight - 21st June 2010

Photographer and filmmaker Niall O'Brien directed this moody and atmospheric piece for King Midas Sound's excellent Lost a few months back, and it now can be seen as the track is finally released on Hyperdub.

Singer Roger Robinson plays a tormented soul, drifting aimlessly through dark forbidding London streets as he contemplates how it all went horribly wrong (insert Wayne Rooney joke here) for this trip hop-influenced track. His bandmates The Bug and Hitomi also make brief cameos.
