Run Toto Run’s Catch My Breath by Nicholas Bentley

Nick Bentley on the making of the video for Run Toto Run's Catch My Breath "The video was shot over one extremely long day in East Side Studios on the Red One camera. David Wyatt (DoP) did a great job with the very, very limited budget (1k) to create a strong look that followed my original influences/references of The Wizard of Oz and Kenneth Anger's Rabbit Moon, amongst other reference points. "David suggested using Anamorphic lenses but I wasn't keen on using the cinematic aspect ratio as it didn't seem to fit the tone I wanted to give this video idea but did really like the way lights and skin tones work with the suggested lenses so we shot it all 16:9 safe and decided to crop it in post. "Sam Jones did a great edit at Cut and Run before I took it over to Luke at the Mill for a really strong grade."
