Mark Jenkin, acclaimed director of low-budget indie feature Bait, has joined Bullion Productions for music videos and commercials.
Adriana Legay joins Stitch in London
Stitch have announced the arrival of Adriana Legay to join their roster of editors in London.
Legay is best known for working in Paris with some of the top French directors on top advertising campaigns, particularly in the area of beauty, and also music videos - her recent work includes the video for Sean Paul and Major Lazer's Tip Pon It, directed by Alex Courtes, and The Blaze's Heaven.
Working with the likes of Francois Rousselet, Martin Werner, Bart Timmer and Jean-Baptiste Mondino, she has worked on ads for Apple, Canal+, Dior, Diesel, Dolce Gabbana, Givenchy, Orange and YSL.
Legay studied cinematography at ESRA in Paris, where she started editing film on Avid. "Between Avid and me, it was love at first sight!" she says. "I was lucky that after my training, I began working as an editor and quickly started cutting music videos.”
She says her editing style is inspired by her love of dance. “I am a dancer - more a hip hop dancer, but I try to dance every day, music and dance are my passions. I edit like I dance, both have a rhythm and convey emotion through storytelling. In choreography, you have to take the public with you and the same goes for storytelling.”
And Legay adds that she is very excited at the prospect of working with London-based directors at Stitch - and it's music video division Homespun. “London is such an incredibly creative world, and I am so happy that this world can be open to me thanks to Stitch.”
Stitch managing director Angela Hart says she is delighted at the new addition to the company roster. “Adriana is one of the most dedicated editors I’ve ever met, and I knew straight away that she was perfect for us," she says. "We are all very excited about working with her.”
