There’s just one day left to enter work in most of the awards categories at the UK Music Video Awards 2014, the big party of the year for UK music videos, and the premiere celebration of music video creativity anywhere. The deadline for entries is tomorrow on Tuesday, August 12th at midnight (BST). 

It includes three awards that honours other forms of music-orientated visuals beyond the conventional music video medium.

• Best Live Coverage
This category is for the best visual coverage of a live music performance from the last year, with the award going to the director and the commissioner of the winning work.

• Best Music Ad – TV or Online
This award honours the most creative piece of advertising or moving image promotion for a music artist, product, company or service for TV or online, the award going to the director and the commissioner of the winning work.

• Best Interactive Video 
This award is for any piece of work that uses interactivity to extend the boundaries of music video and the visual representation of music and promotion of music generally through innovative ideas and the creative use of technology. And as with the above awards, the Best Interactive Video award is open to both UK and international entries.

Following the deadline for entries tomorrow – Tuesday, August 12th – at midnight (BST), the first round of judging for this year’s UKMVAs begins. Hundreds of professionals who work in music video production are being invited to participate in the online judging round on the MVA judging platform as Jury Members.

If you've received an invitation and wish to take part of judging, you don't have to do anything else. You will receive an email informing you which category or categories you will judge online and given a unique password to enter the judging platform. If you're involved in making music videos, have yet to receive an invitation but would like to be an MVA Jury Member get in touch with the team at info@ukmva.com. 

The UK Music Video Awards 2014 takes place at the Queen Elizabeth Hall at the Southbank Centre in London on Monday November 10th. Tickets for the show and the aftershow will be on sale soon.
