Being of a certain age, one can't help harking back now and then to the good old days of the Chart Show - the programme on Saturday mornings on terrestrial TV, that is, before they set that slot aside for cookery. And if it was still going now, would this week's programme look something like this?

Maybe not, as these are predominantly newly-released videos. But this is certainly a 'Videos of the Week' full of chart-nudgers by Rizzle Kicks, Pro Green, DJ Fresh, Wretch 32 and Tinie Tempah. Plus a bit of proper rock from Biffy Clyro. The hot new acts are London Grammar and The 1975; the leftfield bands with interesting videos are Vuvuvultures and The Young Punx. And just a bit of contemplative class from Ghostpoet thrown in there too.

There are also some highly experienced directors on board for lots of the videos, some who started out in back in the Chart Show's Nineties heyday... Jamie Thraves for Rizzle Kicks, Dawn Shadforth for Tinie, Jim Canty for Biffy Clyro, and Sam Brown for London Grammar. And not forgetting a great video for Fiona Apple by PT Anderson...
