Rohan Blair-Mangat paints a picture of Jamaican art and culture in this short documentary-style clip for Jay-Z.

Bam sees Damian Marley give Jay-Z a tour of the music culture of his homeland in this beautifully shot portrait film - including a visit to Tuff Gong, the legendary Kingston-based studio where his father Bob recorded his albums.

Mixing candid shots, interviews and more composed and choreographed moments, the promo sees Jay-Z continue his recent prolific output while also testing the boundaries of the music video format. The narrative is compelling and whilst the song soimetimes takes a back seat, the audience is gaining a deeper understanding of its roots.
