Fatal Gift, Emily Haines's quiet rage against inequity, is interpreted in four chapters by Justin Broadbent of mild dystopia.

This dark world is run on scratchcards, crystals, and bottled water – and Haines is possibly the only inhabitant, in different guises. In her part as a comfortably wealthy lady in a cab, she asks her unseen driver: "How much do I own you?"

Ten years after excellent videos by Jaron Albertin for Doctor Blind and Our Hell, and Metric's EmptyEmily Haines is still doing good stuff.
