Using mythology and lore to turn any perception of light-averse beings on its head, Greg + Lio create a mind-bending world of gravity defying night walks on a backdrop of post-industrial brutalist architecture. The duo cleverly uses hue & saturation as a narrative device - contrasting the desaturated harshness of the night time with the golden warmth of the couple's literal moment in the sun. The video itself looks to these moments of being trapped indoors through a more social lens - rather than cowering at the light exclusively we see the protagonists flee from people too. A wonderful study of very human anxiety through the actions of the superhuman.
