Like a locomotive screaming down Mulholland, George Lewis Jr. (aka Twin Shadow) is caught in the crosshairs of an early '90's style action movie trailer called I'm Ready... that's the premise of the promo for I'm Ready by Lance Drake.
With great work by DoP Todd Benhazi and grader Gregory Reese it's all high contrast black & white slow motion sequences, dramatic close-ups and hench gangsters. Oh, and an attractive woman sitting on his manly pick-up truck...
