Then through the course of the song Griff becomes the central focus&nbsp;within this larger entity and channels the emotion of the song through the versatile arrangements of the group.With choreography by Jay Revell and cinematography by Madison McKamey, the promo is&nbsp;beautifully well crafted, yet succeeds in feeling unbridled and&nbsp;spontaneous. Stink Films London has announced the arrival of Colin Solal Cardo for commercial and music video representation in the UK - timed to coincide with the release of his first two videos produced through Stink, for Olly&nbsp;Alexander's Eurovision entry Dizzy&nbsp;and Griff's Miss Me Too.The&nbsp;French director and photographer (above) has cultivated a distinctive sensibility around craft and performance in music videos since he emerged as a director at&nbsp;live music video network&nbsp;La Blogothèque around a decade ago. He created work for the likes of Phoenix, Metronomy and Alicia Keys at La Blogothèque, winning two Best Live Video UKMVAs in the process, before creating&nbsp;groundbreaking official videos for the likes of&nbsp;Christine and the Queens, Robyn, Charli XCX, Yseult and Caroline&nbsp;Polachek.&nbsp;&nbsp; &nbsp;Solal Cardo's style oscillates between high fashion, theatrics and a technique-driven approach. Characterised by strong art direction, he often adopts elements such as costume, props, set builds and major locations, as well as dynamic camera moves and technically challenging perspectives.&nbsp;Meanwhile, his photography and editorial work have led him to develop a long-standing collaboration with the esteemed publication Numéro Paris, for which he has shot multiple covers, and worked with models and artists such as Bella Hadid, Anitta, Sevdaliza, Shygirl, Eartheater, 070 Shake.His most recent directorial collaborations,&nbsp;both released on March 1st, are his first produced at Stink in London. Apart from this Mercedes is suspended vertically from a crane, and Charli is effortlessly delivering her lines in a similarly vertical position. My knees hurt just thinking about it.&nbsp;Then Charli is riding&nbsp;a monster truck crushing cars in its path, performing alongside a white horse and dancing in front of breathtaking scenery. The art-direction is on point, featuring stunning minimalist props and backgrounds that are inkeeping with the soft pastel colour palette.&nbsp;It's dreamy with a hint of surrealism, and is another strong entry in Charli XCX's videography.&nbsp;

Colin Solal Cardo rises to the challenge of directing Robyn’s latest visual - a classic, electrifying performance in a sandy ruin.&nbsp;Robyn's&nbsp;visual canon&nbsp;has a mythical prestige. Before she was a name in the UK, her devastating video for With Every Heartbeat&nbsp;was in heavy circulation; Dancing On My Own&nbsp;wouldn’t be the gay anthem it is today without Max Vitali’s video&nbsp;and the singer's glorious power stance in it; and Call Your Girlfriend&nbsp;is one of the most imitated dance sequences on the internet.These iconic pieces feel like the work of the same artist, but the common denominator is difficult to pin down. But at the heart of these videos are Robyn’s exhilarating performances. Her soprano voice can communicate a range and complexity of emotion in one bar, and these qualities bleed into her dancing. She is simultaneously strong and vulnerable, relatable and inaccessible, dorky and composed.And this is completely true of Solal Cardo's video for Ever Again.&nbsp;Most recently, he helmed a genre-bending project for Christine and the Queens. Here, he had the challenge of directing a video for one of Robyn’s quietest songs, and the result is pure&nbsp;theatre. Dressed in white Louis Vuitton - designed by the creative director, no less - she twists through the room, kicks up sand, then casts herself into it.&nbsp;Robyn has never looked so much like Bowie, and it suits her. If this really&nbsp;is her last heartbreak, it’ll be a great loss.&nbsp;
