ADCAN invites entries to 2017 Awards

ADCAN invites entries to 2017 Awards

David Knight - 19th June 2017

The ADCAN Awards 2017 is inviting young filmmakers to check out the briefs to make films for six inspiring charities, then make a film and enter it into the awards before the August deadline.

Now in its fourth year, for the first time the ADCAN Awards ceremony will be held in Los Angeles, where winners' workshops supported by leading production companies – including Partizan and Rattling Stick – will be among the prizes.

ADCAN has has partnered with six inspiring charities to create a slate of impactful briefs covering the Refugee Crisis, LGBT+ Rights, Gender Equality, The Environment, Mental Health & Food Waste. Unsigned directors can download the briefs, and then make a film that could make a difference, and enter the awards.

Deadline for entries at this year's ADCAN Awards is 15th of August, with the awards ceremony in LA on 19th of October.

Several launch films have been made by production companies partnering the awards this year, with Partizan director Victor Haeglin's film Make Films Not Walls below.
