Beyoncé cleans up at MTV Video Music Awards 2016

Beyoncé swept the board at the MTV Video Music Awards 2016 on Sunday night (August 28th). Her Formation video, directed by Melina Matsoukas, won six awards including Video of the Year and Best Pop Video, and four Professional awards including Best Direction and Best Choreography. She wasn't finished there, also winning Best Female Video with the video for Hold Up - co-directed by Jonas Akerlund and Beyoncé - and a special 'Breakthrough Longform Video' award for her Lemonade visual album.
After that, there were only a few Moonmen left for anyone else, but two Emil Nava videos for Calvin Harris also won awards: This Is What You Came For, featuring Rihanna, won Best Male Video; and How Deep Is Your Love, featuring Disciples, won Best Electronic Video. Likewise with two Director X videos: Drake's Hotline Bling, and Fifth Harmony ft Ty Dolla $ign's Work From Home.
In the Professional categories, David Bowie's Blackstar video, directed by Johan Renck, won Best Production Design, while Coldplay's Up & Up, directed by Vania Heymann and Gal Muggia, won Best VFX.
