Photographer-turned-director Maisie Cousins has joined B-Reel Films, whose roster is now being represented for music videos by Chloe Page of Lock It In.

Maisie Cousins' photography has been acclaimed for her eye-popping use of close-up flesh smeared in food, flowers and other organic material. Since joining B-Reel Films in London - where the experienced producer Margo Mars was recently appointed MD - she has directed her first music video, for Casi (above). 

Together with Cousins, the B-Reel roster includes Magnus Hardner and Olof Lindh, Neil Huxley, Bastian Glaessner (formerly of Lynn Fox), Mexico City-based director Jaimie Martinez (famed for his 3D gifs for MIA), Will Mayer, Johan Perjus and Martina Hoogland Ivanow.

"I am delighted to have Chloe Page joining us to look after our roster for the music industry," says Margo Mars. "I have always been a big supporter of music videos, having enjoyed producing some great ones in the past. They continue to bring amazing opportunities for directors and producers to develop their creative talent and showcase some of the worlds strongest creative work out there.

"B-Reel is probably best known for designing the interactive film for Arcade Fire's The Wilderness Downtown with Google Creative Lab and Chris Milk, demonstrating the power of interaction and user-generated content. This combined with our talented roster of hungry directors,  it was high on my priority list to make sure B-Reel Films have a strong presence and the right representation starting with somebody as caring and experienced as Chloe. I can’t wait to see what the future holds for us, with some exciting projects in the making.
