Panalux – international market-leading provider of lighting facilities for film, television and media production – is demonstrating its support for British music video production once again by sponsoring the Best Cinematography in a Video award at the UK Music Video Awards 2016.

It’s the eighth year in succession that Panalux has sponsored the UKMVA for Best Cinematography – which recognizes outstanding work by a Director of Photography in a music video in the past year – reflecting the company's longstanding involvement with the UK music video industry.

Panalux also now have a new product that is being made available for film, TV and media production: the next generation battery-powered LED Spring Ball - a multi-purpose, battery-powered soft light for use on set as a flexible source for practical or generic lighting. Chris Millard, Panalux group technical director says “This light is a direct response to client necessity. Our initial brief was a spring ball with no wires or cables and with LED panels. The real driver for this product is that it is completely wireless – no mains and no control wires.” 

Panalux is the first announced partner of the UK Music Video Awards 2016, which is now open for entries in over 30 award categories covering creativity, technical achievement and individual excellence in music video in the UK and across the world in the past year.
