There’s less than one week left to enter the UK Music Video Awards 2015 – the deadline is next Wednesday, August 5th.

Entries are being made to over 30 categories, with the Individual Award categories - Best Director, Best Producer, Best New Director, Best Commissioner and Best Artist – are open for entry for the second year running, in addition to the range of music genre, technical achievement and other categories that are being honoured at this year's UKMVAs.

The music genre categories for Best Pop, Dance, Indie/Rock, Alternative and Urban – which include sub-categories for UK, international and budget videos – have seen entries coming in from home and abroad. There’s still time to get your videos in front of the judges.

In the technical categories, there is the customary wide range of awards to celebrate the art and craft of music video production – Art Direction and Design, Choreography, Cinematography, Colour Grading, Animation, Editing, Visual Effects and Styling. Additional categories in contention include Best Interactive Video and Best Live Coverage. And there are two new awards, open for submissions at the UKMVAs for the first time: Best Music Documentary and Best Lyric Video.

After the entry deadline, the first round of judging for the UK Music Video Awards 2015 will take place in August, a second round in September, and then the nominations for this year's UKMVAs will be announced in early October. The ceremony itself takes place for the first time at the legendary Roundhouse in London on Thursday, November 5th.
