Dumb Ways To Die director Julian Frost joins Passion

Passion Pictures have announced that they have signed Julian Frost, the director of the multi-award winning animated film Dumb Ways To Die, for commercial representation in UK and Europe.  

Dumb Ways to Die, Julian's public service message for Metro Trains in Melbourne, has notched up more than 55 million views on YouTube since its release in November 2012. It swept the awards at this year's Cannes Lions International Festival of Creativity, winning a record five Grand Prix awards, 18 Gold Lions, three Silver Lions and two Bronze Lions, the most ever awarded to one campaign in the festival's 59-year history, it also picked up the Cristal award at this years Annecy. 

Having studied Visual Communication at Christchurch Polytechnic, in New Zealand, Julian has worked as an illustrator, claymation set maker, web and games designer and digital advertising creative, enabling him to understand and apply his distinct creativity and design skill to numerous media platforms.

Passion Pictures’ executive producer Nicola Finn says, “We’re thrilled to have Julian join Passion Pictures. We regard him as an incredibly exciting and innovative talent, very relevant to the multi-media world we find ourselves in.”
