Our latest Q&A is with Chloe Page, the London-based independent director's rep who launched her agency Lock It In last September. She reps directors at Bullion Productions, The Sweet Shop, Th2ng, Good Company and a few more (including Luke Bellis, Rupert Jones and Gareth Phillips) for good measure. A Londoner born-and-bred - she grew up in Barnet, now lives in Chalk Farm - Chloe took a few moments out from her busy schedule to submit to the big Promo Questionnaire...

Education: University of Leeds, studied Sociology

Previous occupations: Promotions assistant at UMTV; product manager/marketing manager at film studios – Sony Pictures, Universal Pictures, Studio Canal; assistant rep at Y-I London; rep/EP at Nice & Polite

Favourite music video of the past 12 months? Can I have two? DJ Snake & Lil Jon's Turn Down For What by Daniels, and Queen of Stone Age's Smooth Sailing by Hiro Murai

Favourite video of all time? Michael Jackson – Thriller

Favourite publications/websites: Vevo

Favourite food/restaurant: Osteria Basilico in Notting Hill, Pizza East anywhere, Sushi Samba in Liverpool St

Favourite drink/drug: Vodka and tonic

Last movie you saw (and was it any good)? Wolf of Wall Street – surprised myself by how much I enjoyed it from beginning to end!

Favourite directors: My favourites, aside from who I represent, are Nabil, Daniels, Wendy Morgan and Ben Strebel

Last gig you went to (and was it any good)? Hozier, yes ace – he’s got such a haunting voice

Favourite bands/artists: So varied... Sam Smith, John Newman, Future Islands, Kwabs, Miles Kane, Bastille

Currently reading/favourite book: Beautiful Ruins by Jess Walters

What was the first music video you worked on - and what were you doing on that job? Jamiroquai – I was runner on set in the desert playing in JKs helicopter and cars – and working hard, of course...

Favourite job of the past 12 months? Joel Compass and The Kooks

What’s the next Big Thing you’re working on? Shhhhh... Coldplay and Mika

What would most improve your life? Duplicating ten of me

Best moment, or fondest memory, of your career thus far? Realisation of the large quantity of music videos that been shot in the first six months since starting up my business! And seeing my young directors flourish.

Worst moment? Having to deliver bad news to nice people

Biggest frustration? Let's not go there

Person you most admire? My dad

Your favourite (or most overused) phrase? AMAZING

What advice would you give to someone starting out in music video production? Network. And don’t expect to get paid anything to begin with! Be hungry to succeed, and don’t get disheartened however tough it gets.

Any hot tips for future stars in music video, directors or otherwise? There are lots of hot directors to watch – particularly on my roster. Without naming names some have already proved themselves as unique visionaries that are pushing the boundaries, there are others there that are soon to shine too!
