Coasts ‘Oceans’ by Duncan Roe

Bristol band Coasts get set to release their debut Oceans from their Paradise EP (April 29) and turn to first time promo director Duncan Roe for the video. Duncan takes the viewer on a tour of his homeland in Somerset as the members of the band lark about in the cinematic landscape.
He admits: “We were going for this summery vibe and it was mid winter, so a huge credit has to be given to John Miguel King for realising the vision I had for the video. We shot on the Alexa with ultra primes to capture the detail of the landscape and were so lucky with the weather as it seemed to be raining everywhere else”.
“The shoot was great fun and Ben (drummer) is now my hero for braving the sub zero temperatures of Waldergrave Pool, a day after it was frozen solid!”
